Global Voices features the spectacular sounds of Canadian artists Tamar Ilana, Teiya Kasahara (Confluence artistic associate), Patricia O’Callaghan (Confluence artistic associate), Meher Pavri, Suba Sankaran (curator), Jordana Talsky and Turkwaz (Maryem Hassan Tollar, Brenna MacCrimmon, Sophia Grigoriadis, Jayne Brown). Take a spin around the world with vocal music spanning several centuries and styles, from live-looping to opera, flamenco dance to Eastern Mediterranean and Balkan songs, with unexpected stops in between.
