Confluence Concerts acknowledges that the land on which we gather, perform and share stories is the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee, the Chippewa, the Huron and the Anishnabeg peoples and is home to these and many other First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. We also acknowledge that Tkaronto — or Toronto as it is known — is covered by Treaty 13 and the Williams Treaty. We are all treaty people with responsibilities to honour these covenants.

We acknowledge that our relationship to the land and to our ancestors — both individually and communally — is fundamentally important. We commit to prioritizing these relationships in all of our activities and to doing positive and conciliatory work to move forward in a good way.
